Why do you think teens join gangs?

I think that teens join gangs because they think its cool but in my opinion I think that its stupid to join gangs because you get killed for no reason and just because you were hanging around in the corner I also think that its bad for the neighborhood because the gangs sell drugs and put bad influence on the little kids and also because the little kids cannot play outside their house without their parents being worried if their going to come back inside.

The building on Adams and central is no longer there no more drugs no more noise no more pain no more suffering no more smoke running through my nose no more rats crossing the streets no more girls coming in and cut like a crowd of roaches lined up no all I have is peace and quiet we can walk to the store without getting killed kids can jump and play without their names on the news the next day.

Connection.

This poem relates to my topic because we both don’t want that on our neighborhood and we both know that is bad and wrong and illegal and also to be able to walk on the streets without being afraid of getting killed and we both want all this stuff to be over and just stop.
